MarchMadnessBrackets.net is the official blog for www.marchpool.com. Marchpool was founded by a diverse group of engineering grads who immigrated to San Jose’s Silicon Valley in the 1980’s. All came from basketball-crazed Universities where they participated in March Madness firsthand. Software and related intellectual property have been developed over time largely as a hobby. The website was formally put on the internet in 2001, and gradually opened up to friends and family members to participate in.

Marchpool now boast 3000+ friends across a variety of social networks, having grown largely through word of mouth. We have a growing number of professional basketball and media players worldwide who enjoy the game without feeling the need to gamble on it.
